Jobs Description

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:  

Pick up and deliver merchandise where directed.

Keep proper maintenance of company vehicle.

Be able and willing to learn the basic operation of shipping and receiving.

Keep vehicle clean and presentable.

Daily check of all fluid levels on company pickup.

Notify parts manager immediately of any necessary repairs or unusual sounds from company pickup.

Must have and keep a valid driver’s license.

MARGINAL TASKS:

Help shipping and receiving clerk to stock parts. Be available for physical inventory.

EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS:

High school education or equivalent

Valid Drivers License

WORK
EXPERIENCE:

Experience in delivery of parts or retail sales.

SPECIAL 
REQUIREMENTS:

Must have and keep a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of area to cover.
Ability to recognize the need for urgency of speedy pickup and delivery.

Ability to be insurable by our insurance carrier

Prefer experienced delivery drivers

PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS:

Endurance to drive, stop, and go a large portion of the day. Getting in and out of the pickup several times a day. Ability to lift objects of 50 pounds from the floor to waist high, and 25 pounds to shoulder high.
